how is the CRT breakfast?

would it be enjoyable for 2 adults or is it too much for kids? it will be just me (27 female) & DM (49).

i am taking DM to WDW for christmas this year. we have never gone just the 2 of us & have never been able to afford to eat in any of the nicer places due to DM having too many people to feed on the trip with us.

i am surprising her with this trip (she knows we're going now).
this will be the first time we have tried any of the restaurants other than counter service & also the first time we have stayed on property.

we have both always wanted to eat in the castle. i have made ressies for CRT on Dec. 9 for breakfast but am now wondering if i should cancel & maybe change to lunch or dinner. i thought the characters at breakfast would make it even more "disneyish".

can anybody give me any help on this?

also i have PS's for us at LTT before MVMCP Dec. 13. we also plan to eat at one of the restaurants in the WS but i haven't decided between R&C & San Angel Inn. any suggestions here would be appreciated also.

18 days till our first christmas trip to WDW!!!! :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Do not cancel CRT. I'm not a big fan of the food there, but there is nothing as exciting as eaating in the castle. Adults can enjoy it as much as the kids can. Go and have a great time.

I agree that you should definately go to the breakfast at CRT, and enjoy! I went last year with DH and another couple (no kids) and had a great time. The atmosphere is beautiful, and it is fun to see the princesses. We are all kids at WDW!

If you were luckily enough to get a PS for the Castle Breakfast, then go, enjoy, and have fun. You may never get another opportunity to go.

If you want to eat in the castle, and want a great meal too, try to get a PS for dinner. My mother and hubby rave that it was the best meal we had at WDW, and we ate at Boma, and a few other sit-down restaurants as well. We actually managed to be a walk-in at 7:45 PM on a Saturday night, they dimmed the lights for the fireworks, and Cindy was downstairs when we were leaving. It was truly a magical evening for us all!

I agree go and have fun if you the characters are important to you. Our family prefers lunch there. At lunch and dinner it's much quieter and you can enjoy the atmosphere a little more. Lunch will save you quite a bit of money over dinner. Of course, as Schmeck said being there for the fireworks would be pretty magical! :D

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Have fun!
