Question about CRT and other photo packages

Quick question: Do the photographers take more than one shot just in case the first one doesn't come out well, or is it a one-shot, take-it-or-leave-it deal? I'm just wondering, because I have a 3 year old, and sometimes it might take more than 10 seconds to get a good smile out of her.

My understanding is that you can also take pictures with your own camera. Is this correct? Do they rush you to finish up?

I promise we won't be huge character hogs, but we would like to get one nice shot of our dd with each of her favorites. (Fingers crossed for a good picture with BELLE. That alone would be worth the price of admission even if we never got to ride on a single ride!)

When we were there in January, they had just one shot of the kids with cindy. We were able to take a picture ourselves. We did not feel rushed, but the line was pretty long so I guess we did not want to take to much time. We did get some great pic's while eating breakfast. All the princesses will stop by your table for a pic. I believe I paid $35 for the pic that they took of the kids & cindy, but I got a 5 x 7 and 4 desk size.
