We are thinking of doing the dining package for Candlelight Processional next year and are wondering what time would be best. We thought about the last show at 8:15 but how long is the show and would we be able to see illuminations? Anyone do this and what was your experience? Also other times, what did you think?:)

we did the package. 5:30 dinner at marrakesh (was not impressed and will not go back) and the 8:15 show. aftere the show we had plenty of time to pick a spot for illuminations by germany. illuminations was at 9:30. show was about 40-45 min. saw brian dennehy. he was great.

We did the 6:45 CP a few weeks ago. We had a little time afterwards to walk around then picked a spoton the bridge to watch Illuminations (turned out to be a great spot!) Anyway, it looked like people were walking by having just gotten out of the late CP when all of the spots were already taken. So, if you are concerned with getting a good spot, I would try to go to one of the earlier shows.

We usually have dinner at at 5:30 P.M. and then get in line at 7:30 P.M. for the 8:15 P.M. show. Finding a clear view of Illuminations after the CP can be difficult. It depends on how many are in your group and their ages. For us it's just my wife and me, so we aren't too picky.
