If I have a buy one get one free coupon and the store is having a buy one get one sale. How does the coupon work? Would I be able to use it for any savings?

Next question is about buy 2 of X item for $1.00 off. Could I then use another coupon on the second item?

Thank You very very much for any help!

For the BOGO you would get both items free

If you have a coupon that is $1.00 off 2 then you shouldn't use a 2nd coupon on 2 items. That $1.00 off already attaches to those 2. (Not saying the store system won't allow it - but the ethical coupon users say that you shouldn't)

For stores with a true bogo you get 2 free.

For stores that a bogo is a 50% off sale (like publix is the state of GA or kroger) you end up getting 2 at a better sale. So bogo sale at cvs, 2 free. Bogo at kroger 2 items for $3, you pay $1.50 for 2 because the q takes off the $1.50 for one.

It honestly depends on which store you're shopping at as to what you can and can't do with your coupons. I suggest looking up the store's coupon policy on their website.

It definitely depends on your store. The grocery where I shop will not let you use a Buy one get one free coupon on a sale that's the same. Drives me nuts!!

That would be pretty rare. I recall once not being allowed to use the coupon since I already got one free.

Most of the stores here really just charge half for each item and you would get one free. So if it was a $4 item, each would ring up at $2 and you the coupon would be worth $2.

As mentioned, it all depends on the store.

I have always been able to use the BOGO coupons at CVS with no problems. But I agree that it depends on the store and location. If you read the CVS thread, you will see what I mean.

I also wanted to give you a helpful website. http://www.couponmom.com/login.php

I learned so much about couponing from that website. Be sure to read through the forums too.
