What exactly is Community Hall at BWV and what is there to do there? Also, what free activities are there if staying at BWV, besides the pool? I know there is evening entertainment along the boardwalk, these I know would be free to watch. What is there to do that costs money and around how much is it? Looking into it for days we would not be at a park or doing something like just hanging out by the pool, going to play mini-golf, or maybe enjoying a day at Disney Quest. I know the health club is free if you are staying at BWV as a DVC member. What does this include? Only working out, or sauna and steam room too? I know massage is additional!! ;)

Community Hall has video games to play & rent. Movies to rent (both free for members) There is a ping pong table, coloring activities for kids. There are activities throughout the day run by CM's, some are free, some have a small fee. You'll get a list of activities when you check in. My kids (14 & 11) love going to Community Hall to hang out :goodvibes

I walked past the healthclub, but never went in  so can't help with that. Other things to do would include renting a surrey bike to ride around Crescent Lake or water mice (whatever they're called now), sorry don't remember how much $. There's an arcade at BWV & over at YC & BC, the kids always like that. I prefer to hang by the pool with a Captain's Mai Tai :drinking:

Wow, this sounds perfect!! I can't believe they have CMs hosting activities too! DH and I love this kind of thing! That's one of the reasons we love cruises so much too (and planning to do these sometimes in our "off" years as well). I also read that there is a "Welcome Home" reception for members on Wednesdays at 4PM at Atlantic Dance Hall. Children can come to this too with their parents who are members right? This is all really so nice! And the pool area looks wonderful.

I still would like to know a little more about the health club though, if anyone has some info. Thanks!!

Love BWV.....can't help you with your healthclub question though:rolleyes1
Didn't realize they had one:lmao:

The pool area is awesome....mama bear can sit on the lounger....go get a cocktail at the pool bar....all the while never losing sight of baby bear going up the slide 1000 times;)
The slide is fast and fun.

At night they have "Carnival" type games on the boardwalk......nominal fee.
I want to say the surrey bike is 22 bucks for 1/2 hour. It is a little tough to get up the hills with that puppy though.
Happy planning
Kerri

edit....I was looking forward to the "unbirthday party" community hall....DD6 says it was pretty cheesy....don't bother.
