Question about Club Level

I've never done the Club Level thing, but I am considering it for this years' June trip with two 16 yr old girls and dd 7. Staying at Hard Rock.

First of all, is it worth the extra bucks? What are the perks? I know that you receive a continental breakfast every morning, but what types of food are included? Bagels, muffins, etc? What are the breakfast hours?

What type of food are included during the hors d'oeuvre hour? Is there always plenty of soda and water available at all times?

I heard something about the fitness center? Can my 16 yrs olds use it?

What type of room is included? Is it a standard view?

Any other info you can provide would be helpful, especially would like to know if you thought it was worth it or not.

Thank you!

if you do a search, you will find lots of threads about the hrh club set up and food offerings.

the fitness club is available to those registered at the club level.

i don't remember the age requirement for it but i believe it is listed under the amenity in club description.

soda and water and afternoon snack is available all day long in the club lounge.
last time i did club level there, the snack was potato chips during the day.
snacks change so it could be a different item when you are there.

go to the website for booking hrh.
you will see the different room rates for the type of room you want to book.
pool views cost more than the garden views.

all floors have a couple of deluxe room, king suites, standard rooms with either pool or garden view.

While I am not an expert, I will say that for our family (Mom, Dad and 3 growing kids of 13, 9 &7) we have stayed Club level at the Hard Rock our last three trips. Would not think of NOT going Club. THe breakfast is the standard continental fare. Bagels, muffins, fruit, pastries, on occasion they had hard boiled eggs and I do believe they have instant oatmeal as well as single serve packages of dry cereals.

Coffee, Hot Water (Tea), Cold water and soda available all day long. MId day snacks are bags of chips, pretzels, fresh fruit (bowl on the desk) and granola bars. Each night the "appetizers" were enough to make a light dinner out of as we ate a large meal in the parks around 1-2pm. Also during the apps time you get free beer and wine.

Late night snacks were varied.......they could be cookies, brownies, make your own sundae and my son's all time favorite  churros.

We don't do the gym at home......so can't help with the fitness center questions. I do know that Club Level guests get discounts on the cabanas if a whole pool day is in the plans for you (I highly recommend it :thumbsup2 )

At the PBH club level, we used the fitness center sauna everyday. The fitness center is included; however, we were so tired from the parks that we didn't need the exercise equipment.

You must be 18 to enter the hot sauna. My daughter and I would go to the co-ed whirlpool everyday; then, shower there and use all of their toiletries (including tooth whiteners, deluxe shampoo/conditioners, razors, and then wore one of the Loews robes up to our rooms) If you really wanted to, you could even use their make-up type items that were on display in the spa lobby.

We loved just sitting in the dark with cucumbers on our eyes and chillin'.:cloud9:

For breakfast there was a huge assortment of pastries, yogurts, oats, various fruits, teas, hot chocolate. Soda and h20 is available all day.

We saw many people obviously using the evening's offerings for their meal--they had their plates piled high.

I know at the PBH they have a set menu for each night of the week. I remember pizza was there on Wednesday and usually some type of chicken or seafood. Assorted cheeses every day and wine and bottled beer.

We're going to be staying Club Level for our first time too:banana: . In researching, I read somewhere that the minimum age for using the gym equipment was 12 & the kids must have adult supervision.

Thanks to everyone who's posted other info. in this thread. It's making me so excited!!! This is going to be a surprise (the club level) for my 2 DS's (14 & 11) & I think they are really going to love it.

Thanks so much for all of the info.

It has been quite helpful.:thumbsup2

We are staying RPR club level for the first time at the end of February. I will give a low down when we return. We are VERY excited for our first US/IOA/SW trip!!!
