Question about Club level at AKV

This may not be the right place to ask this, but do they offer Savannah veiw club level rooms?

There are 5 2BR lock-offs total that are club level (thus max of ten rooms). They are only in the Jambo building and are all directly above the lobby. Three face a savanna (one of which is handicap accessible), two the pool and you cannot request view, you just get whatever you get. The ones that face the savanna do not have the better savanna views. If you really want savanna view, you should reserve a savanna view point cost room rather than go for club level. If you are not AKV owner, chances of getting club level at 7 months out any time of year is low.

We stayed CL at AKV 2 years ago. There were not many animals and we were not impressed. Plus being so high up you don't get a great view. I would like the better views would be as low as possible.

As for availability - we booked between 30-60 days out and that was the only 1 bdrm available anywhere on property. We were shocked. Would not have been in our top 5 choices but we didn't have any. We own at OKW and they were booked along with SSR although we had to move to SSR our last evening. I think we spent 3/4 nights at AKV. We have stayed at AKL and I can't say we enjoyed it, although there was nothing really wrong either. Now we've done the DVC part, we know for sure we don't ever have to go back. It's just not our thing.

as stated, you might get Savannah view but I don't think that the extra points are worth it anymore.
