Hi everyone,

My family will be meeting my brother-in-law's family at WDW this October, and we will all be staying in a 2BDR at SSR. We want to use the DDP and here's my question: do we have to pay for everyone on the DDP at the initial check-in? We will be checking in first, then my brother-in-law and his family will arrive later in the day to check in. Can I pay for only my family's part of the DDP when I check in, and my brother-in-law for his family when they check in?

Now that I've typed it, it seems like a silly question. Oh well...I'll ask anyway.

Thanks!

At check in you will be required to pay for eveyone on the DDP. Also the credit card used will be the one assigned to the room so the room keys will have charging privilages to that card (unless you stop some of the cards)...........unless someone knows a different way this is what I went through last November with the in-laws.

They told me on the phone that my Parents could be charged separately from my family on another card. I am not sure how this is going to work. I think it will depend on a very knowlegeble CM. ;)

If you are all checking in together I believe they can run the DDP payment on two credit cards. But the complete plan must be paid upon checkin, whether all people have arrived or not. Therefore, in the case of one person arriving first and checking in, they will have to pay and be reimbursed later by the other guests.
