Question about changing resorts with PIN

My in-laws got and took advantage of the 40% off PIN that was sent out earlier this year. We are heading down after the US Thanksgiving for a week and staying at the cabins in Fort Wilderness. My MIL is now looking at the map of the Fort and can't believe how big it is. My question is if they decide that they want to stay somewhere else would the PIN discount still be applied?

I believe that I read that yes, you can modify your reservation to a different resort and still qualify since the original room was booked that way.

I don't think that you can add any rooms (ie: booked a cabin to sleep 6 but now want to book 2 rooms at POR) but not positive.

I would give WDW a call and ask what restrictions come with changing your room.
