Question about changing people on reservation

I know that recently it's been changed that when you book under a promotion and change your reservation, the promotion has to be available for the changes you want to make (resort, dates, etc). But what about adding or removing people from a reservation you've made under a promotion?

I currently have three adults booked for a bounceback offer and a fourth has now expressed interest in going. No change to dates and no change to resort. Will that create a new reservation or will it just be adding an extra person onto my existing one?
