Question About Carry On Items

Just wanted to verify with those who have experience.
We do bring electronic items such as our GPS, phone chargers, walkie talkies, as such with us in our carry on? I'm especially concerned about our GPS. We are renting a car when we get there and need that to navigate around Orlando. I just want to be sure it will make it through security ok. Anyone know if the X-Ray damages things like that?

You are aloud to have those items and the x-ray will not damage them.

Yes, we took our GPS on the last trip a few weeks ago and made it through with no problems. They are allowed, as the PP said.

The only thing you could potentially have an issue with would be extra lithium ion batteries for any of your equipment that are not installed in anything. Everything you described is fine. To save yourself possible rechecking, make sure all the cords are neatly bound up - a mess of cords is likely to have TSA agents wanting to take a second look.
