Question about BounceBacks

When you get offered a bounce back discount, how far out are the reservation dates usually??

Here is why I am asking - I am going to CSR this November for a short Christmas trip, but we also know that we would like to return in May for a full week and stay at the Contemporary (probably BLT).

I am trying to decide if I should book right now to rent DVC points there or wait until November to see if we get a bounce back discount. Any advice?

I would book BLT on points if it would be cheaper than a possible discount.

I believe that the people who were staying in a WDW resort last November 2012 were offered a free dining bounce back for select dates in August and September 2013. I think that the room only discounts for 2013 first appeared in December of 2012. I wouldn't try to guess what Disney will do this year with the bounce back offers. So if they follow their pattern you may not get a room only discount in November for 2014.

FWIW, we will be staying at the WL in December and hoping for a bounce back so we can return in late April-early May. I went ahead and booked the room I wanted at the BC in the hopes that it will be included in a possible future bounce back offer. I really want to be at the BC during the Flower and Garden Show and didn't want to risk not being able to get a room then.
