Question about borrowing points Please help

We have a November trip planned and as of now plan to fly home the Wed before Thanksgiving

Now I am thinking maybe we should come back on Friday. (but then we wont get the grand children back by Thanksgiving) which might be ok need to discuss that with my daughter

I heard day before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest Also not sure how expensive airfare is during that time normally.


My question is if I add on an extra day or 2 now I would need to borrow 2012points (I know once borrowed they stay in that use year) but would have the room reserved then If I would need to cancel the last day or 2 of my reservation can you ask they use the borrowed points on my remaining reservation so I could still bank my unused 2011 points


Hope my question is clear as I am very confused now

As long as you are still in your banking window...first 8 months of your UY...
AND you cancel the days more than 30 days prior, they will take out current year points and let you bank them into 2012.
Just make sure you ask them to.
