Question about Booking Categories 05A vs 07A Verandah

I originally booked a secret Verandah 07A aft. I rebooked when the 35% discount came about for my cruise. I got a great discount but was booked as a “VGT”.

Received my room number today 05A “ 10534”. It is forward near the quiet pool.

So my question Is is this an upgrade from my original booking? We really saved by rebooking and although we have never stayed forward or on deck 10, am very pleased with the room assignment. TIA!

I think so because the navigators verandah you had in the 7A isn't quite as awesome as the 5A is a full verandah room. But literally I've done 6 cruises and I still barely know what the numbers mean lol

Yes, the smaller the cat number, the “better” the cabin. Some things are subjective, but to Disney 5a is two full categories better than 7A
