Question about Boardwalk View rooms

How many points is a studio Boardwalk View room? I know what preferred view is, but I am assuming Boardwalk View is more. Can anyone tell me?

BoardWalk view is one of the preferred views and is the same as all other preferred view rooms.

So do you just request it and it is not guaranteed? I was under the impression they had made it its own "category".

For reservation purposes now, when you call to reserve and ask for boardwalk view, they will either give it to you or tell you it is not available for the time you are requesting. If they give it to you when you reserve, it is then assured.

The preferred view category has been split in two:

Preferred Boardwalk View or
Preferred Pool/Garden View

You reserve one or the other, they are both the same amount of points. They did it because too many people were requesting boardwalk view and not getting it. There were disputes about how these rooms were assigned, so this solves it. First come/first serve when making the reservation.
