Question about Birthday Ticket

When I first read about the free birthday ticket, I could have sworn that I read that you could purchase a multi-day ticket with the birthday benefit up to 7 days before your birthday.

Has this gone away??

For example, if I arrive 3 days before my birthday and want to purchase a 10-day park hopper, can I do that and get the free birthday benefit deducted from the price of my ticket??

I'm almost certain that you can not get credit on another ticket for the Birthday deal . As far as I know that ticket is only good for the park of your choice for the day of your Birthday , no park hoping with it and no water parks & more . Just one day entry to one park and you can't make upgrades or get credit on your already existing park ticket for it's value. This is the way I understood it to be , hope this helps you

Free admission on your birthday is in the form of a ticket for immediate use and is just that. Must be received on your birthday, used on your birthday, and if upgrade is desired, that too done on your birthday.

If you already possess a multi-day ticket (includes an annual pass), you may choose an alternate birthday gift. We suggest the gift card which is good for about $75. of non-food at most gift shops and for selected other services not including resort rooms.

There is also a birthday ticket for delayed use, good on one of the 364 days after your 2009 birthday. This one is not upgradable.

If you don't have proof of birthday -- birth certificates must be certified with embossed seal; non-U.S. citizens must show passports -- the only gift you can choose is the delayed use ticket and you must show proof of birth when you use that.
