Question about birthday gift card and Reward Redemption card

We have been using the Disney Visa for all of our purchases for the last several months building up Rewards Dollars. We had been told that we would be able to get a redemption card to use for dining and souvenirs at the parks. When I look at the Rewards page, it only lists a handful of restaurants that accept the card. I was under the impression it was like a regular gift card. Are those really the only restaurants that will take our rewards dollars? Neither table service place we chose was on the list.

Also, my husband wants to get the birthday gift card in exchange for the free day on his birthday. Will the restaurants accept this as payment?

I don't know about the Visa rewards card, I've never used it at a restaurant, but the birthday gift card can't be used for food purchases.

We have used our Disney Visa reward dollars all over WDW property. What restaurants did you choose? If they are not Disney-owned you may be out of luck, but otherwise you should have no problem using your card.

If you don't get the card brfore you leave you can get it at WDW. We picked ours up at Guest Services at Downtown Disney.

We picked the Biergarten in Germany and Coral Reef. I was looking at the Rewards page on the Chase website and it had a link for "Where to Redeem" and it made me think maybe it wasn't everywhere like I thought. When I clicked on it, there were lists separated by park and Epcot only had 5 or 6 restaurants listed. I would've thought it would have at least been every country.
