Hi,

We are going to WDW next month, and we have one DD who is two. DH and I are on the DDP, but DD is obviously not. My question is-- how do we handle her meals? Someone else had posted previously about whether or not she would have to pay for her DD's meal on the day she turned 3. Does this mean that they eat for free when they are 2?? I had assumed we would be paying out of pocket for her meals.

Thanks in advance!

Kids under 3 eat for free at buffets and family style restaurants. If you are at a regular, order-off-the-menu TS restaurant or CS restaurant and want a separate kids' meal, you do have to pay for it, regardless of the child's age. Have a wonderful trip!

The portions are usually HUGE at TS restaurants...when we were there in May with a 2 year old we always just shared with him off of our plates...we never had anyone give us grief at all. We always asked if they would bring us an extra plate and they did so very happily. We always ordered an extra drink for him but they never charged us for it (not once in 7 nights...at TS meals only..they did at CS meals) but they should have by all rights...my son never would have eaten a whole (or even half) of a kids meal. Otherwise, you must pay out of pocket for a meal. Hope this helps! Have fun and EAT MUCH!
