Hello, We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside the night before our cruise. My SIL and I would like to take beer along on the cruise. We are eating at Disney Springs and I was wondering where we might be able to buy some. I was thinking about the gas station behind the parking garages. I believe it's a Hess station. I could be wrong about that. Would that work or any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks everyone, Rick

POR has one of the best stores..

6 bottles of beer OR 2 bottles of wine per adult. And it is per port.

You didn't say if you had a car or not but I'm assuming no. The Hess station is I think now a Rally station as they were bought out. Yes, you can buy beer there usually a bit cheaper than the resort stores.
You may want to check to see if the local Walmart or Publix can deliver it to you at the hotel. They both have delivery services to WDW.
You could also Uber to Walmart off of 535 (just down the road about 10-15 min from DS) or drive if you have a car.
Enjoy your cruise.

If you are driving to Disney Springs, this place might work. I went there last year and they had a good beer and wine selection

We stayed at the Hard Rock at Universal Studios last spring and had the beer delivered to our hotel via Amazon. That worked well. Good selection. We took a six pack on the cruise with us, no problem. It was a 4 day cruise and we barely finished that 6 pack. Longer cruises, it wouldn't have been a problem. 3 or 4 days just isn't as many opportunities to drink the beer you bring.

Ubers do work in the area, so you can go shop yourself if you do a grocery search in the area. We went to Target one day on that same trip and picked up some items we forget, did lunch, etc. Honestly, Universal didn't excite us too much, so after the second day, we didn't mind going to Target.

I can vouch for both the Wal-mart and the ABC Liquor as being great places to stock up. The Wal-Mart actually has an attached liquor store.
