Question about beaches

We´d love to spend 1 or 2 days at the beach somewhere. The kids are 2,5, 10 and 12 years old and we´d love to be able to rent paddleboats or engage in some kind of activities. Snorkelling is also one of our favorites. We don´t mind driving up to 2 hours but preferably not much longer.

Any ideas what would be the best beach for us? The possibility of having dinner at a seaside restaurant is definately a big plus.

I would say Daytona. Probably the most to do for the bunch of you. That's a personal preferrence though.

Within two hours, IMHO, your best choices would be Dayton, Cocoa, or Clearwater.

I'd rank them

Daytona - hour and a half to two hours depending on trafic.

Clearwater - hour and a half to two hours depending on traffic (notice the theme lol)

Cocoa - hour or so depending on traffic

All have pretty good seaside resturants to choose from.

We went to Cocoa Beach while there two years in a row. We really enjoyed ourselves there. The drive is not really bad either. Just leave early enough to miss that early morning traffic.
