Question about BCV dues

We purchased 150 pts. at BCV in March. Since closing our monthly dues have been coming out of our checking account. By all my figures our dues should be around $59.55 per month.

$3.97 x 150 = $59.55

Is this correct?

Every month DVD is taking out $63.67. Where is this dollar amount coming from? Am I missing something to account for the couple of extra dollars? Is there part of the equation that I'm missing?

BCV dues:

150 points times $3.97 per point (rounded to nearest penny - the actual amount goes two more decimal places) = $595.50

$595.50/12 = $49.63 (rounded).

In your first year you pay from the date you put down deposit (not closing) to the end of the year. From then on, you pay on a calendar year.

They pro-rate from your deposit date but don't start taking it out of your checking until after closing. So it's possible they have to "catch up" for the couple months that you owed before they started taking it out. Just a guess. If you still don't think it's right then talk to DVC accounting for an explanation.
