Question about banking and transferring points

I'm not a DVC member yet.. still researching, and still trying to save up the money, lol (not wanting to finance at all)...

Today I made up a "fun" sheet of vacations we could do each year with the amount of points I'm planning on buying, and while I was doing that, I thought of a question I needed to ask...

If you bank some points into the next year, can you then rent/transfer those points, or is that not possible?

I know that sounds silly... why I would bank, then transfer? And its kinda hard to explain, but just need to know if I can or not.

No, you can't transfer banked points.

you can rent a reservation made with banked pts though.
