Question about August Rates

I called to find out what the rates were for Wilderness Lodge Conceirge with the code rates which she said was available with the discount and she quoted me like $2100.00 which I don't think is right anyone know what the rate would be for 8-22-04/8-28-04 for conceirge? A rough guess will do.

Wasn't the August code for the general public something like $80 (a fixed amount) off of deluxe rooms (less for mods and values)? You could price your vacation at the disneyworld.com website for concierge at the WL and then see what the difference is.

You get a bigger percentage off of your room rate if the room rate is less to begin with. I think with the Aug. code the rates at WL and AKL start at $119 a night plus tax for the standard rooms - which are normally $199 a night that time of year. If concierge rooms are normally $400 a night (just guessing) then you'd pay $320 with your discount.

I called this past Wed. to try and book a stay at WL for just an overnight stay for my birthday on Sat. Aug. 21. I inquired about availability with Any discount code I may be eligible for (I have an AP, am a FL res. and have the Disney Visa) and the CM came back and said, "I have nothing available with a code for that date except for concierge" and then quoted me $275.00 per night for concierge. I said thanks anyway and decided to try back the next day. Which I did and was able to get courtyard view for $165 per night.

In any case, if it's $275 per night concierge before tax with the discount code, it would be $1,925 for 7nights. You're only $175 off of that amount -- not too far off. Was the $2,100 you were quoted after tax? If so, it sounds like you were quoted correctly.
