Question about Areosmiths RRC

Rolling Stones were the first choice for R&RC but wanted more money than WDW was willing to give up, so Aerosmith was next in line. I don't think they would accept any less money now.

I was going to say the same thing! I saw it on the travel channel, I think. One of the designers was talking about all of them looking through a stack of CD's asking "How much do you think this band would cost?" So, price definately has a lot to do with it. But, I can't see Disney "cheaping out" and putting in a no-name band to save some money.

I guess we will all need to stay tuned (ha ha... radio joke!) to see what happens...

Hannah Montana?
I think I'm gonna throw up.

I hope they leave it alone. I've been a fan of Aerosmith since 1973. to change it to something as ridiculous as Hanna Montana would be the worst thing Disney could ever do!

You can't compare the two. Aerosmith is legendary. Hannah Montana is just a silly tv show for kids that most people over the age of 12 have zero interest in.

if Disney wants to make improvements, they can start by doing away with High school musical. and while they are at it, get rid of the tomb stone things at EPCOT that are just an eye sore and in everybody's way.

My vote goes to Bon Jovi. A couple years ago, a ten year old started explaining who they were to me. Even told me the singer had a longer name that sounded like Bon Jovi.

So, I guess that - at least as of 2 years ago - they're still around a bit. Plus, Jon was then and continues to be so very cute. What a smile on that guy.

I have a niece who looks just like Jon Bon Jovi. she is 31 yrs old and she looks like she could be his twin. well, that is when he had long hair.

wouldn't it be just awful if they decided to get a country band? I shudder at the thought! that would be almost as bad as Hanna Montana.
I can't think of any band to feature that is better than Aerosmith. and Steven Tyler has been spotted in the parks more than once too.

It's always funny to me when I'm reminded that most bands have much wider-ranging musical tastes than their fans.

I love country music but would have to agree, that ride cant be set to country music I dont think. Though given a choice of somehow making country work or hannah montana, I would take country any day. On page 1 someone mentioned they should do a top gun... that would be crazy amazing it is my fav movie of all time! but its not a "rock n roller coaster" anymore then.

Aerosmith has not had a hit for 15 or 20 years, yes they still tour and have a strong fan base but updating to current music would be a great idea.

As a Massachusetts girl who got to see Aerosmith perform live and for FREE in local parks and fairs way back when, I would be saddened to see them booted for a more trendy band. Aerosmith's music is what RnR is. Loud, cocky, exciting and in your face. Hannah Montana.....? Oh brother.
