Question about April weather

We usually go around mid-May when the weather is rather hot. I know the temperature during the day in April is in the 70s and 80s. What about the nights - do we need jackets and/or long pants?

We were there last year in April. I dont' remember wearing pants or long sleeve at night. We are going again this year and I am only bringing one pair of pants and one long sleeve just in case, but I very much doubt it if I am going to use it.

The weather in Florida can be so different year to year it is hard to predict. So far this spring has been very warm, but to me anything below 70 is cold lol. Check out www.weather.com for the 10 day forcast that should help. Have a great trip

Thanks Fantasia and Hootis. We'll probably be wearing a light jacket when we leave New York, so we will each take one pair of long pants and a long sleeve shirt. Hopefully it will be warm.

The last time we went in April the first day was quite chilly and rainy...after that the temp was in the 80's the reat of the week and it was great. We are also going again this April!!!!!!!!!!!

Our local weather shows Miami is around 84 these days-is it wishful thinking-are they right? I sure hope so. I've had enough of the 40-60 range, dark and raining we've had here.

This will also be our first trip in April, and I'm telling ya, ANYTHING will be better than the rainy, dreary, 40 degree RAW weather we've been having lately...BRING ON THE HEAT!!!!
