question about AP discount

Someone told me today that we are getting $100 dollars off the new AP. That would make it the same as the 2005 5 day gate price.

anyway, I won't be going back until 2006 or 2007. If I bought in Jan. would it still be good if it is not activated until then or would it just be for 2005.

The thought being that by '07 the discount could be gone and the price could be upto 400 for a 5 day, I would take advantage now, but if it wont be good by then, then I should skip it.

I really think if enough DVC member do it - the discount will be around for several years.

remember this is a flat $100 discount - not the percentage that DVC use to get - so it is a flat amount - while the annual passes will increase in price.
