question about an old attraction

This has been bothering me all day. What is the name of the ride that used to be in Tomorrowland taht showed an family from many years ago, then the audience moves to music and it's the next decade? Please help. thanks

I believe you are talking about Carousel of Progress, which is still in Tomorrowland, open seasonally.

I can tell you it was open when we were there October 20-27 last year...all I can see anywhere is it is listed as open "seasonally" but what that really means, I have no idea. The parks were not crowded at that time (lots of people had cancelled reservations due to Hurricane Wilma moving in, and we had very low crowds the whole trip) so I am not sure it has anything to do with crowds...not sure what they use to define when or if it will be open. I love the dogs in that attraction!

It's been open all of my June/July Disney trips. Open seasonally tends to mean "open at the busy seasons." Good luck catching it on your next trip!

Carousel of Progress is open all the time and is not listed as "Open Seasonally" on current park maps or Times Guides. It isn't listed that way on the official WDW website, either.

I love CoP.

It was open end of September to mid October on our last trip. That was off season then, so maybe it's open all year round but they say it's "open seasonally" to cover themselves so they can shut it on quiet days?

I used to really enjoy that as a child, liked it last time we went too

That attraction is a Disney classic. Too bad there isn't more interest in it from guests.

I enjoyed COP ... still hum the song and it is on a CD I have ... "great big beautiful tomorrow" ... though I have to admit ... I was very tired from walking ans slept through the 40s!!!!!
