Does anyone know the ins and outs of booking with AMEX?
Can I split payments between 2 cards(one non-AMEX) and still get the benefits.
We are booking with DU.

re-post, sorry, no answers before

To get the benefits, you can not split payments. The entire cruise, including deposit and full payment, must be on Am-Ex.

You can check with DU about the Am-Ex benefits through them, if available. Also check the packages/benefits in the Travel section of the Am-Ex website.

I have a similar question.

I don't actually have an AMEX card but I am thinking of getting one. My friend and I like to keep our finances seperate, so could we book the AMEX discount on two seperate AMEX cards?

Thanks!

Brenda

I don't see where there would be any problem as long as each person's deposit and cruise was put on their own AMEX card. You would probably need to do this on the telephone or personally through your T/A instead of booking online - just to keep things straight.

AMEX can definitely split payment on separate AMEX cards. We booked our cruise for 3 families; we each used our own AMEX cards.
