we are staying offsite but would like to make ADR's :dumbo: for boma..is there somewhere where we can see tha animals roaming or is that only for guests to see who have balconies? we have todders who would probably love to see them and a photo enthusiast. thanks.

First, Boma is a GREAT choice for dining! (Our new favorite after last trip) :) Second, yes, you can see the animals at the lodge. After you walk into the main lobby, you pretty much just walk "out back", head toward the big glass window\wall, and your in a really, really nice common area. It's just a short walk to the same area that many of the savannah view rooms overlook, and a great place to hang out while you wait for your seating time at Boma. :goodvibes

We were able to get quite a few good pics there, in fact, better than the ones I was able to get on the safari ride in AK due to being able to stand still, LOL.

great thank you..im calling them this week to make the ressies!!

Thanks for the photo compliment! That particular morning, we were invited into the park "pre-opening" to do a visitor survey at "city hall". We got a chance to take quite a few pics before the gates actually opened. :) It was pretty cool being in the park while it was nearly empty! :goodvibes

Oh, we've gotten picked to do that survey too, and the quiet streets we encountered afterward was such a treat!!
I took many photos...and dana1003, you'll want to book your next Disney vacation at AKL after you see how lovely it is there!! Boma is fantastic..

If you want to take a little time to explore the resort, you can walk out the wings where the guest rooms are. In those hallways, there will be an occasional window for viewing.

You might go to RESORTS at the top of this page. From there, you can get to DISNEY RESORT MAPS. The AKL map shows the various animal areas.
