Question about AKL Savanah....

Are the animals out at night and can they be seen at all?????

On our first night at AKL I woke up at 2:30am and looked out our balcony. Right there 30 ft in front of me were two zebras and some kudu grazing in the savannah grass. I was thrilled! I made it a habit to check everytime I woke up in the night and saw all the animals except the giraffes. The ankole cattle would always sleep in a trio nearby and were easy to spot with their large white horns. We had a view of the Arusha savannah.

but I do know that AKL offers "nightvision" google for viewing. I think the quantity is limited and I am not sure if there is a charge.

We were able to see the animals out at night, without a problem, even without having the night vision goggles.

They have special moonlight lighting so you can see the animals at night.
