We are booked for the Animal Kingdom Lodge for one night in October. I know that the pool is closed for refurbishment and am wondering if it's a hassle to take the shuttle to Kidani Village to use their pool and if that pool is exceptionally crowded? We are only there for one night, staying club level and are deliberately not going to any parks that day to enjoy the pool, etc. Now I'm debating if we should stay somewhere else.

You need to post this on the Disney Resorts board. This is non-Disney resorts here.

Personal opinion, if staying strictly to use pool - I'd move.

Its not a hassle at all to get to the Kidani pool - we walked over there one day to check it out and it was an easy walk. It is a nice pool and has a great kids splash area and a much better slide than the Jambo House pool, but overall, I preferred the Jambo pool. Not sure if it is worth moving hotels though. There is so much more to see at AKL and it is such a relaxing resort.

It's about a half mile walk between Kidani and Jambo. Easy walk.
