We are going to Akershus for lunch, I have a 20 month old. Is she able to eat from the cold bar ? I plan on her sharing lunch with me but was not sure if I could share with her from the cold bar as well.

Also I understand a photo is included in the price of the meal, is that one photo per paying guest? If so do you think they will let my husband substitute his photo and have the baby's picture taken instead?

Oh also is there a seperate children's menu or do the other kids pick from the same menu that we do? I am worried they won't like anything there, they are not horribly picky so the pasta may do. They really just want to meet the princess'.

Yes, your 20 month old can eat off the cold bar and there is a seperate kid's menu. I don't know about the photo. We are planning on eating here in Sept.

There is no such thing as a "kids buffet" or even an "adult buffet" at Disney. They have buffets with one section lower to the floor which has on it items that kids tend to enjoy (such as pizza, hot dogs, chicken strips, mac & cheese, etc.). Any person at the buffet (including children less than age three who are free) can get anything from any part of the buffet.

The picture is not per paying guest. its just one photo. When you walk in you go to the photo first, then they seat you. When we were there it was Belle for the photo. They bring that photo to you while you are eating. It is a 8x10 and then you also get a couple of 4x6s of it as well. Cinderella, Ariel, Jasmine, and Sleeping Beauty made their rounds while you were eating. Plenty of time for pictures with all of the princesses.

Do they also have the little buffet for kids at dinner? Just incase Im not crazy about my dinner i wouldnt mind eating the chicken fingers & mac & cheese;)

its not a traditional Disney buffet. Its more like a salad bar, with cold cuts, fruit and some type of fish, then you order your entree off the menu..check allears for the menu

If you are going just to meet the princess why not try the breakfast instead. That is what we are doing since the lunch and dinner menu does not really fancy our boat. The breakfast is served family style and it contains the following.

Fresh Seasonal Fruit
Bacon
Sausage
Scrambled Eggs
Potato Casserole
Biscuits
Cinnamon Rolls

Enjoy. :thumbsup2

The photo is one package per 4 people ( i think). I know that 6 people will get you 2 photos. I'm pretty sure it does not matter about the paying or not paying people since at CRT with 4 paying adults and 2 under 3 toddlers we got 2 photos. When the same 6 people went to Akershus (girls were 3), we still got 2 photos.
