Question about ADR at Disney Studios

We have a ADR booked for 8.15am when the park opens at 9am. If we finish the meal early or have to leave early due to our young children getting bored will we be allowed into the park. I was thinking that we could go and get fast passes for one of the busy rides and queue for one of the others. If we arrive at the park early can we walk around and take photos or do we have to go straight to the restaurant.

No, you will be held at the rope (or a rope) until RD actually happens. You can't actually get to any attractions until after rope drop.

On entering, you will be able to walk up the street to the location of the restaurant and that's pretty much it - it's not very far from the entrance.

Finn- IMO- if you're going to the Play N Dine Breakfast, I doubt your kids will be bored within 45 minutes. The character interaction there is awesome, you get a lot of "playtime" with everyone My DS4 did want want to leave!
