Question about adding the dining plan for one night ressie

For our trip in September we have one night reserved in a studio and then transfer to a different resort to a 1 bedroom. For our first night, can we buy the dining plan for that night only??? It is a separate reservation # than the one bedroom.

One more question, if we purchase the single day dining plan, use a ts meal for dinner and check out the next morning, can we still use our kttw card for the counter service and snack portion the entire day after checkout? We will be in the park on the day we transfer so I want to use the snack/cs portion for that part. Thanks.

Yes, and we have done this too. We have stayed in a studio for 2 nights with DDP and used it for one of the signatures before spending a week in a 2 bedroom with guests. It was the ONLY time I thought DDP was worth it for us. We have always done better cost wise with the DDE (now TIW) card.

I just booked the Quick/Counter Service dining plan for a 1 night stay we have in Oct. We are staying 1 night at BLT and then the next night at Kidani AKV and then on to cruising on the Disney Magic I booked the dining plan for the first night at BLT that way we can use our credits either on day of check-in or I was told we have up until midnight of the next day to use them so this will work perfect for us!

We were also planning on doing this for one night before our crusie when we stay at BLT on September 25th. It's great know it will work as planned.

This is exactly what we are doing too.

We have our arrival night in a value studio, followed by 4 in a 1BR. I have two plans:

Plan A: As it sits now, our flight is scheduled to arrive at 8:30pm. (We are flying AirTran so I am hoping for a schedule change) The plan is to add the QsDDP for the one night, eat at Mara for dinner and breakfast, grab some snacks for later in the week and use the mugs all week too. I am planning on eating dinner at LeCellier on that second night.

Plan B: IF AirTran changes our flight time wizard, I am hoping to get on an earlier flight that arrives by 5pm at the latest. Then, I will add the DxDDP to our studio night. With this plan, we will eat dinner and breakfast at Boma (I already have ADR's...just in case) and the dinner at LeCellier will now be covered by the DxDDP.

I am hoping that I can do Plan B, but it will save me about $100 if I get "stuck" with Plan A. I love Boma, but Mara is a great CS alternative.
