So my sisters and SILs and I are going the first weekend in February. They all purchased their two day tickets through the frog place and everyone has reservations, I think. One sister didn’t realize we were getting park hoppers and got it without. Disney says the only way to add the Hopper is in person at the ticket booth, and it is based on availability. I have read if one Park that you’re trying to add the Hopper for it does not have availability that you cannot have the Hopper. Has this happened to anyone, and what do you think the chances are of it happening the first weekend in February? It seems like there should definitely be availability for a regular ticket, right? Aren’t the magic key holders the only ones that are having to really book in advance, or does it fill up some weekends for regular ticket holders? On a totally non-holiday weekend? Trying to see if we should be good adding the Hopper or the night before, or if we need to buy a different ticket and use hers for something else… I don’t mind doing it that way. I could buy a Hopper ticket and trade her for the non-hopper, which I will use for one of my kids a month or two later, but how hard is it to detach a ticket from your account and give it to someone else? Or can we have it attached to two different accounts to start with and she just won’t use it? I know that’s a little convoluted.
