Question about adding Dining Plan

Hi,
I have made all of our dining reservations and I am now thinking of adding the Deluxe Dining Plan. Will Disney refund the money I already paid for a breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table if I add the dining plan? Thanks so much in advance for the info.

There are 2 options when adding the dining plan after you've prepaid for CRT.

1. If you can wait until trip time for the refund, simply have them take the credits off of the plan when you get there. They will refund your card at this time
2. Cancel the current reservation and rebook under the dining plan. This should refund the card at the time of cancellation. This is risky as you can lose the ADR though

Occasionally a CM may be able to refund while keeping the same ADR, this is rare though and typically they'll do the cancel/rebook thing if you ask.

I agree with the PP.

What about trying to book another ADR for CRT and once you secure that one with the DXDDP, cancel the original one and get your refund.
