I know it costs to rent the power boats and the bikes, does it cost extra for like the canoes, and the horse back riding? Didn't know if there was anything that they included. I'm HOPEFULLY upgrading to the cabins for may, and wanted to take advantage a little bit! Thanks!!

The canoes, bikes, etc. all have a charge.

Not sure about things like shuffleboard equipment.

The nightly campfire and movie is free

Watching the electric water pageant is free.

There are daily games and activities at the campfire area (will be moved back to the pool when it reopens). Most of those are free, (a small charge for Bingo).

What else, folks??

I'm REEEEALY hoping they can upgrade me, right now we have 2 rooms at ASMu, but we want to be together, since one day will be DH's birthday, and the day after is DS's birthday, shoulda just got the cabin to begin with I guess, dad and DSM are HUGE campers!! They like the outdoorsy stuff!! Thanks for the info, keep it comin!!

Here is a current photo of the price list showing the offerings from the Bike Barn:

Note that you can borrow the equipment for Horseshoes, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball and Shuffleboard for FREE! Also, there are several tether ball courts throughout the Fort.

There is a separate price list for the motor boats down at the marina. I took a photo of that on my most recent visit, and will post that for you here once I get it uploaded.

Pony rides for young children are $5. I don't have the current prices for the horse trail ride, but children must be 9 years old for that, and as I recall it was in the $30 range (a few years ago).

Found this on AllEars...

Guided horseback rides are offered 6 times daily (8:30, 10, 11:30 a.m., 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m.) at the Tri-Circle D Livery at Fort Wilderness. The rides, which cost $42 per person, last approximately 45 minutes. Riders must be at least 9 years old and 48 inches tall and can weigh no more than 250 pounds. The horses are tame and walk pretty much single file during the ride. If you're an experienced rider, this ride may be too dull for you. If you've not had an opportunity to ride a horse before or have done so rarely, this ride may be just what you're looking for. To make reservations, call (407) 824-2832 -- reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance. It is strongly suggested that you wear long pants and that you do not wear open-toed or heeled shoes. To get to the Tri-Circle D Livery, you can drive to and park in the Fort Wilderness Visitor parking lot and walk; board the bus at the TTC and take it to the Outpost Depot bus stop; take the Fort Wilderness boat from the marina at the Magic Kingdom to the Fort Wilderness marina and then walk to the Settlement Depot bus stop where you'd then board the bus to the Outpost Depot.

OK, Monique provided the information on the trail rides.

Here is that photo of the prices for the motorized boats:

One more activity that hasn't been mentioned is that they offer archery. You sign up for that at the Bike Barn. That lasts for an hour and a half and costs $25.

Also, at night, you can take a horse-drawn wagon ride for $8 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3 to 9.

I'm sure there's more, but that's all I have for now.

Do you know if you have to make ressies for the nightly horse drawn carriage ride? And how long does it last? That's the only thing that seems to be at a reasonalbe price. :hippie:

According to the Ft. Wilderness Gazette, reservations are not needed for the wagon rides. The wagons begin boarding each evening at 6:45 and 9:15 pm. The wagon departs when it is full. The wagon ride lasts 45 minutes. Call 407-824-2832 for additional information.

Please note that I am talking about a wagon ride, which is with a group of people, not a carriage ride, which is private (I believe a group of up to four). I don't have the current pricing on the carriage rides.
