question about activating new annual passes

I just purchased our annual passes online. Can I just stop at the ticket booths first and exchange it for our actual card or do I have to activate it through a turnstile first? It has a bar code and just says I can go directly to a turnstile but must visit a ticket booth sometime during my first day to pick up the actual pass. I would rather just pick up the pass before I even go into the park. And does my husband need to be there with ID too or can I just give them mine and pick up all our passes with the printouts myself? Thanks for any help you can give me! So excited!!!

Congrats! You can go to a ticket booth first if you like. Your husband must be there to activate his pass and show ID.

Just a hint, lines can be long first thing in the morning. If you decide to activate at the ticket booth in the morning, you might have a bit of a wait. Have fun!
