Question about AAA package...

I called and got some prices through AAA and they told me that I could not book a room/dining plan without buying tickets. Is this true? I can get tickets through Shades of Green discounted. She did say that I would only have to buy a ticket for one person in our party so it would not be much more to just buy one ticket.

Any input is appreciated.

I *believe* that is true.

Personally, I would avoid a AAA pkg - most AAA Travel Agents are not well versed in Disney and if you wish to make changes you are given a hard time about it (switching resorts, etc)

When are you travelling? Have you considered getting an AP and getting the DDE instead of the Dining Pkg?

FWIW, we saved over $700 by switching from a AAA room rate to a AP code room.

Yep, you need to buy tickets with the package to have the dining option. You could do just a 1 day ticket but that would take away the savings of the dining plan if you already bought tickets. Price it out before you buy the package.
