Question about a villa (for a friend!!)

A friend of mine, who for some reason thinks i know everything about Disney has asked me how far away (truthfully) is a villa that she is thinking of renting next year. The villas are called Watersong Disney Villas and they are on a road US - 17-92.

When i have looked on a map they seem miles away...bear in mind we stay onsite so everything else looks like a trek !!

Has anyone any ideas about how long it would take to get to say MK?

I assume they're driving? Looks quite far but it looks a shortish drive from the to I4 then straight up - could be between 20-30mins drive by the looks of it?

Not THAT far, but certainly further out than where I'd like to be (and we're usually offsiters).
It's further south than Championsgate which seems to be about the furthest a Disney area hotel I see advertised anyway

Yep, just done a quick 'directions' route on google maps from there to Magic Kingdom and it gives a few routes between 30-40mins

We stayed at Watersong last year it was an easy drive to Disney, easy to get on the I4 only 1 or 2 junctions to turn of for Disney. Villas there are all new and the one we had was exceptional, booked again for next year at another villa there.

Watersong is a little further out, about 30 mins but is a really nice new community with a lot of the homes overlooking conservation and/or lake. The homes are also very spacious. It's one of my favorite communities. I'm sure your friend will be very happy with Watersong.

We always do that! Infact, we've taken to getting the address from the owner and then finding the house on street view and having a good look around the area. It's great being able to really consider the routes we'll take when we're there.
