My DD is a flower girl in a wedding next week and she loves her dress. How crazy would it be to let her wear her flower girl to dress to the CRT for breakfast as her princess dress? She says she feels like a princess when she wears it!!!
TIA

I say go for it! Little princesses wear all kinds of dresses. princess: I'm all about the little girls wearing what they want to wear (within reason of course). Just be careful about the shoes - that's always the kicker!

Got the shoes covered:thumbsup2 I bought her some lace and beaded flip flops for the reception, so I'll just let her wear those with her dress!!!

If it will make your DD feel special and isn't too uncomfortable, definitely go for it!! It's kind of cute, actually. She can be Princess Sophie (or whatever her name is) rather than dressing up at one of the Disney princesses. The schtick is that she's another princess coming to visit with them rather than trying to be one of them. I love it!

My only word of advice is that you may want to bring other clothes for her to change into after your meal in case she gets itchy or hot. Those dresses aren't typically that comfy.

Last year when we ate at CRT, she had on a Sleeping Beauty princess dress that wasn't all that comfy!! So we ate, did Fantasyland and went back to the hotel to swim and she changed into shorts before we went back to the park in the afternoon!! This is what we will do again this year since it worked out so well for us!!!

it is a great idea. i am sure it will be very special for her and she will definitely be noticed. :lovestruc

Another that thinks it's a great Idea. DD had a dress like that when we went last April (08).

Get her a little tiara to go with it too at Michaels/etc (40% off coupon usually in Sunday's paper). Perfect!

Also, if you want to do her hair like BBB, Target had little tubes of hair glitter - blue, pink and red (they were actually princess) for $1.00 each in the dollar bins. I bought 2 - I don't know if my DD will want me to do it, but at least I have it in case!

I say any opportunity for her to get to actually use the dress should be taken. There is no rule saying that girls have to wear DISNEY princess dresses. She'll definitely look and feel like a princess. My girls were flower girls in a wedding a few years ago and I loved letting them wear the dresses any opportunity that came up. I'm a firm believer in using my "good" stuff at any and all opportunities (this also includes things like good china, silver, crystal, jewelry, etc). Why keep them if you're not going to use them?

As everybody else said, make sure that shoes are comfy and to have a change of clothes for after if it's an itchy or hot or in any way uncomfortable dress. If it's all comfy them let her go to the park in it. She'll get lots of attention which I'm sure will make her feel special.

Your daughter will totally feel like a princess! Flower girl dresses make awesome princess dresses.....when else are you going to use it?

Hey Lesley i think she would be precious in her dress. That is what disney is for right, for them to feel special. See you soon. princess:
