Question about a harness

My youngest son has PVL and it effects 75% of his brain. Unfortunately it has also caused an impulse control disorder. When we visited WDW 2 years ago we had a harness to help keep him safe. The only one that he would allow us to put on him was one of the harnesses that had a stuffed animal on them. He still requires one and since he is exceptionally strong and the harness doesn't hold him anymore. Does anyone know of a place that I can get a harness for a very strong child that still has the stuffed animal on it- or does anyone know of someone that makes them? TIA!!:thumbsup2

This company makes custom harnesses. I don't know anyone who has used the company, but it came up on this subject somewhere other than the DIS Boards.

This site, LucasWorks , seems to be a nice site for items useful to people with autism. It also has some more information about the child harness.

Here's a link to another place that makes harnesses:

I'd suggest you could remove the animal from the harness you already have and attach it to the new harness. If someone custom makes the harness, they could probably plan for an easy way to do that.

One of the other threads pointed me to the child harness website. dh and I were overjoyed because that is exactly what ds needs. He has already told us that he wants Pirate Mickey on it. Dh then just laughed at ds and turned to me and said well you're raising another one aren't you:rotfl:

THANKS AGAIN!!!
