Question about 300 Loop

We are coming in next week and have a preferred site reserved and we are bringing our dog. So from what I have read we are safe to assume we will be in the 300 loop?!?! We are camping with another family and want to take a chance and request two sites next to each other close to the park. The sites that back up to the park/pond would be perfect.

Anyone know what these site numbers are?

Based on the anecdotal reports that we have had here on the Disboards, it appears that the only loop that the Fort management is currently calling a preferred pet loop is the 300 loop. However, last Fall they were calling some of the loops in the 1600-1900 area preferred pet loops, so it is possible that they could try to put you somewhere other than the 300 loop.

The sites that you are looking for are 301, 302, 305, 306, 308, 309, 311, 313 314 and 317 (these are the first 10 sites on the outside of the 300 loop). I have to tell you though, that this is a busy time of year, and that it is truly wishful thinking if you expect that you will be assigned two adjoining sites in this very desirable area. But, it doesn't hurt to ask, so good luck!

Please report back after your trip, and let us know how it turns out. I try to keep track of where they are putting people with preferred and full reservations. Also, what loops are being used as pet loops- as this seems to be changing all the time lately.

I agree when we went in Oct 08 we ended up in th 1400 loop with our pets 1400 wasn't a pet loop but there was others with pets also in the loop so who knows where they may put you could be any of the same grade sites but you could request a loop but we did also and still ended up in the 1400 so good luck and post how things went when you get back
