We plan to visit US/IOA for two days and are planning to buy 2 day passes from AAA. What I'd like to know is if we are allowed to go back and forth between the two parks on those two days, or do we have to spend all of day 1 at one park and day 2 at the other.

Thanks!

Hi kerri,

Yes you can go to both parks on a single days ticket with that pass. Check and see if AAA is still offering buy 2 days get a third day free. Good Luck:)

And with the 2 day pass, I believe you can enter the parks on selected days 1 hour earlier than the scheduled opening.

If I rememer correctly, in July IOA opened 1 hour earlier on Monday's and Universal opened on Thursday's 1 hour earlier.

We went there for the first time July and had a blast!! Can't wait for next year to do it again!

In comment to Ms WDW, I was told by guest services that multiday tickets are NO Longer accepted for early entry.. we bought them direct from Universals website, and not acceptable per Darlene F. at Guest Services....Apparently only for onsite guests... can anyone back this up?

I just called Universal Guest Services, AAA tickets ARE still valid for early entry.

I used my Multi-Day tickets in July and I purchased them over the Internet. We were not staying on site either and used them for "early entry". Now I guess things could change within 30 days, but I'll call and see what answer I get.

I was just stating what was told to me.. only onsite guests were eligible for early entry

My email from Darlene is about 6-8 weeks old though. Who knows, there has been so many changes going on, that anyone knows what is ultimately correct.

It never hurts to double check in situations like this. It's very possible that something has changed within a month's time. Let's see what they tell me when I call the 800 number.

Ok; I just called directly to Customer Service (1-800-711-0080) and was told by Gary:

"Early Entry is available with the 2 day Multi Ticket. This is the minimum number of days you can purchase to use the Early Entry privledge."

I then asked about it being "discontinued" and he stated; "In the past when attendance is high and there are more on-site guests than normal, we may limit the Early Entry to just the on-site guests. However, this year the attendance has been lower than normal and no restrictions have been placed nor is there any discussion at the moment to do so and I don't think it will be done at all this year. Please remember this can be done at any time so anyone wishing to purchase the 2 Day Multi Ticket should call and verify that it can be used for Early Entry".

I thanked him and asked which days had Early Entry and he told me:

Monday and Wednesday for IOA
Thursday and Sunday for Universal.

So I hope this helps and I guess the bottom line is call ahead and see what things look like.
