Question about 1/2 marathon registration

Hi WISHers.

i registered to run the 1/2 way back in February. In March, I discovered that my husband and I were expecting a new little bundle (BIG surprise)

At any rate, I know that the registration fee is non-refundable. Are they able to be transferred? If not, does anyone know what my options might be? I see that the 1/2 is completely full already.

The website says the registration fee is non transferable. You might try to contact someone directly and ask what your options are.

The race entries are non transferable. Disney will requires a signed waiver and your drivers license to get your race bib and packet. If someone where to run in your place, you would have to write a letter allowing them to pick it up, a signed waiver, and a copy of your DL. If someone has this with them at the expo, they can get your stuff.

If someone runs in your place, the get your size shirt and have your name on the bib.

As soon as this little one makes his appearance, I'll be hitting the streets to start my training again.

Congrats on your little turkey! I too will not be at marathon weekend 2010 due to a special pumpkin arriving this october, but am going to aim for Goofy 2011. I am registered for DL 1/2 this september, and am going to attempt to walk it, as I am local, and would otherwise lose my entry fee anyway.

Wow! You're brave attempting to walk the 1/2 that far along! Good for you! I'm stuck on bed rest for the next 20 weeks, so I'm going to have to work extra hard after this little guy is born. I hope that I can be in walking condition by the time 2011 rolls around

I did the full this past january, and princess in march, and doc said that I could walk DL...so I'm going to try!

2011 is far away...you may even be in jogging condition by then!
