Queso at La Hacienda?

Can you just order a bowl of queso to go with the chips they bring? Anyone know how much it is?

TS places do not do "to go" orders. However since this restaurant is a CS during lunch...not sure if they would or not.

I would think that they probably don't, but since they would have the containers, they might....????

Best thing to do is ask and prepare for them to say no, then be excited if they do it.

No Im sorry I guess maybe I said it wrong. I wanted to order just a bowl of queso to go WITH the chips they bring. Its something my DH does anytime we go to a Mexican restaurant, he isnt that crazy about salsa.

I noticed they had a queso appetizer but I just wanted a simple bowl of queso to ordrer on the side..

Are you asking if they will bring him a bowl of queso without charge because he prefers it to the salsa?

No idea. I would think it isn't all that likely because they charge for queso. Or, you may be wondering if they will bring a smaller bowl of queso at a lesser price. I don't know about that either.

If you do try it OP, please come back & report whether it was allowed and what the charge was...I am one who can't eat too much salsa but love cheese dip, too. We really enjoyed the food at La Hacienda but I mostly ate the chips plain (which was fine with hubby, cuz he loves salsa.)

Oh defanitely not! Willing to pay of course! I just havent heard anyone mentioning just ordering queso on the side for anything at La Ha when here at home ppl do it all the time.. I wanted to get it for DH but didnt want to pay $12 for plain queso (melted cheese)

I've ordered the queso. It's pretty good. but I paid the $12. Didn't even consider asking for a smaller portion. It WOULD be interesting to know if they will provide one.
