I'm having a somewhat difficlut time fitting Playhouse Disney into our schedule at MGM. My question is ... how good is it? I have DSs 5 and 3, but they do not regularly watch the Disney Channel and so are not really familiar with the characters. We would have to forego Indiana Jones Show or Beauty and the Beast to make it fit and I want to know, is it worth it?

I just saw it last week. It was really cute. The characters were the Pooh characters, JoJo, Stanley, and Bear. I took DD3 to it while DH took our older kids on TOT. That being said, I would not miss Beauty and the Beast, and the IJ stunt show is pretty neat if you have not seen it before. It's up to you, but if your kids aren't into those characters, than they probably won't care if they miss it. Just so you know, the Playhouse Disney show is 22 min. long. I checked because I wanted to make sure we had enough time to see it while DH and kids rode ToT. Have fun!

I think a lot of the enjoyment has to do with how well your children like the characters in the show.

Do they know (and like) Beauty and the Beast or Indiana Jones? If so, I would not skip them to go to Playhouse Disney.

The show is definitely good and fun for the kids, but I think it is infinitely better for those kids who love the shows and can scream out "Stanley!" when he comes on the stage.

If the kids don't know those particular characters, I'd say it is just so-so. Like the others have mentioned, there are better overall shows. Don't miss Beauty and the Beast.
