Queries about Hotel New York

Closest place Cafe Mickey. or in the park at Plaza, you get a discount if you stay in Disney hotesl and then book a CB at those.

Theres no character breakfast at Plaza Gardens now only at Cafe Mickey.

There are lots of characters in the hotels though usually in the morning and evening

Thanks for all the info - booked yesterday to go next Thursday (most last minute i've ever booked any holiday!!) and originally planned to stay in the Cheyenne, but at the last minute, without telling my fiancee (whose birthday it is while we're there, as well as our ten year anniversary!!) i switched to New York, as we haven't stayed there before.

Just hope i can keep it a secret til we're at least on the plane

While we're there next week it's my fiancee's birthday on the 31st, and our tenth anniversary on the 1st, so would like to email the hotel to tell them and cross my fingers that some pixie dust is blown our way.

We had a huge bunch of flowers they had put in my room that my dad requested in advance when my mum and I stayed at HNY, and they really made a lovely choice. I thnk maybe I got a mickey toy too.

BU tthe only reason was becasue he couldn;t come algon, I'm sure if you say it's a special anniversary, they will do something amazing!(for the right price)

Wow this hotel was incredible, i don't think i could stay anywhere else again (well, maybe the Disneyland Hotel lol) after being here.

So relaxed and laid back after a day in the parks (even with conferences of what looked like Italian scientists lol).

We got a room overlooking the lake too, and the bed was the best i've ever slept in, it was absoloutely massive too!!!!

Didn't bother in the end, was all booked a bit last minute so didn't really even have time to think about it - will make sure i do for our wedding in Florida in October tho

Hi,
This hotel looks great, I'm really struggling to decide on a hotel for January 5th!
Do the rooms have wifi access as I will have to use my laptop every morning without fail!
Also is it easy to buy the wifi time, I've heard some nightmare stories where people are running around trying to buy the internet cards!

Yes, self park is free and it is right outside the front of the hotel.

Don't take it as gospel but i'm sure most of the rooms if not all will be WIFi as they hold loads of business conferences here.

We had our laptop with us and could easily connect to the wifi in our room, however you had to enter card details first to pay for it.

I have just booked a suite at the New York Hotel.

I was told that this was a "new" suite which has been offered since june 2008 and there was therefore no information about it on the website yet.

Has anyone here stayed in one of these suites and can share som info?

The booking office gave me the following info:

- it's 61m2
- there is one seperate bedroom
- it's a part of New Yorks "Castle Castle"-club like the Castle Club in Disneyland Hotel
- it has the VIP Fastpasses and the other benefits you get at the suites at Disneyland Hotel, Sequia Lodge and Newport Bay

It would be great if anyone had pictures from these "new" suites.
