Anyone catch this and the farewell show last night? I am such a wuss; I was bawling during the farewell show and some parts of the finale. The finale wasn't perfect but I guess I am okay with the way things were left. I'm mostly sad that yet another quality tv show is gone. I'm looking forward to seeing the talented cast in other things.

I'm gonna miss it, too. It seemed as if something bad was going to happen to Ted. Glad it ended the way it did. Very sweet and sad.

I'm still reeling from it...what I would have given for Justin to have walked into Babylon at the ending, but other than that all is (I guess) well. Tears are welling up as I type now...

I do so hate that they are pulling a show off the air that has literally changed my life. It's amazing how much you can learn from something as simple as a TV show! I don't think I have ever been as dedicated to a show as I have been to QAF, and may never will be again, but I never felt like my time was wasted. I'm forever changed and forever grateful with no apologies and no regrets!

I was a little disappointed with the last show. Which I guess is a good thing since I won't miss it. I guess I will miss the show, but I wasn't crying at the end like I was with SATC.

I'm glad that they had Brian and Justin break up. I remember thinking a couple of months ago that I would be very disappointed if they changed Brian's character and had him commit to Justin. Even though I didn't like him, I'm glad Hunter came back to Ben and Michael. I'm also glad that Lindsay and Melanie got back together too. I was sort of hoping that Emmett would get back with the football player, but I'm OK with his ending. And I knew something was up with Ted's new guy. He just seemed really creepy to me. I thought for sure something bad was going to happen when he came back to his apartment. I'm glad Ted threw him out.

Did you guys watch Weeds afterward? I told DH that we could get rid of Showtime after the final QAF show, but Weeds kind of looks good. I TIVOed last's night show, but haven't watched it yet. I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't. We hardly ever watch movies on Showtime--there is never anything good on. And I don't want to keep it for just one show.

I know how you feel. It's so weird how a tv show can have such an impact. I've only felt this way two other times in my life, when Buffy ended and when I finished the Dark Tower series. It's like a chapter of your own life is closing.

I was clapping like crazy when Ted finally accepted his life and luck, blew out his candles and Blake appeared. I am glad that Justin would not accept the 'changed' Brian. It is sad that they ended up apart, but I felt like the end was left open enough that if you are a fan who wanted them to end up together, then it could be so eventually.

I think the farewell show was sadder than the actual finale. It is so refreshing to see a cast that actually loved working with each other. The entire cast is excellent, but Gale Harold is amazing.

I didn't watch Weeds. I watched Entourage afterwards so I didn't go to bed all sad. :)

"Weeds" is very good. Mary-Louise Parker is a joy to watch. Maybe you could keep SHO long enough to check it out. I also like Penn & Teller and "The L Word" on SHO.

Oohhh, I was really disappointed in the ending!! I don't know how I personally would have ended it, but it made me sad to see Brian dancing alone at Babylon. I thought it was sweet that Michael came to get him after Justin left, but gosh, I just felt sad looking at my poor Brian all alone. I would have loved to have seen Justin walk over to him at the end, too.

I will really miss this show. Maybe the DVDs would make a good bday or Christmas gift!

I thought the farewell show was also much sadder!! I watched it twice, but I only watched the last episode once. I just couldn't bring myself to do it again!

I personally have no desire to watch Weeds, but I am hopeful that Showtime will come up with another great one for me. I liked the first season of Dead Like Me, but it lost it's appeal in the second season. But I have never had a show hold my attention like QAF has and I may never have that again. Thank goodness for DVD's!

Because I have satellite, cancelling Showtime would mean that I would loose IFC and that is definitely not a possibility!! I love it!! Besides, where else can you watch Gale Harold movies other than IFC and Sundance! I do hope we'll be able to see these guys again in other things. I've seen some of them already venturing out and I hope they keep it up!

I'm just glad I'm not the only fan of the show (although I am the only one I know of in my town)!

I am so dumb....I am sitting here thinking this is about "Queer Eye" and I am like "What? It is going off the air? Who are these people that they are talking about breaking up or staying together? Why are people crying?" I am so silly.......LOL!!!!
