I look forward to reading about your plans!

Hello and :welcome:

Last year we did a surprise trip and didn't tell her. She didn't find out theat we were going to the World until we were on the ME.

I love surprises! The only problem we had was other people saying stuff in front on her (forgetting it was a surprise for her). If someone would say something I would quickly think of something to cover it up.

I read part of your trip report. Not sure if I posted anything. I am usually a lerker (sp?). The Princess Gabby in the title caught my attention because of my Gabby. ;)

We had a great time at the fair. DD had a wonderful time on the rides and I ate a little too much junkfood (corn nuggets, fries, pizza, waffle sandwich, and nachos w/ cheese). Ugh. I stepped on the scale this morning and to my surprise it was .2 under my weigh-in weight from Monday morning. I also ate very badly on Monday!

It is tough to keep up the motivation to lose weight. It seems (with me anyhow) that if I slip up once I use that as an excuse to slip all day long. I laugh, but it's not funny!

I still have to lose another 35 lbs to be at my pre-baby weight. :scared1: I gained 50 lbs. with my daughter. Then I gained some more after I had her. :scared1: I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant and that did me in. Oh well..........I'll just keep trying.

After looking at the pictures of the fair I realized that I better start to practice taking better pictures for our trip! :scared1: Boy oh boy..............they turned out really BAD! Even though this one is pretty bad I decided to post it. They had two bounce houses at the fair. One themed after Peter Pan and the other after Snow White. I couldn't not post one themed after Disney and one of Gabby's favorite movies!

Okay, let me start off by saying that I could really kick myself! :headache: I had this whole thing written and then I must have hit another button and poof pixiedust: it was gone!

The list of Monster Trucks are as follows: Dennis Anderson w/ Gravedigger, Tom Meentz w/ Maximum Destruction, Blue Thunder, Grinder, Brutus, Monster Mutt, Avenger, Spiderman, Superman, Taz, Backdraft, Air Force Afterburner.

So, I was partial to the Air Force Afterburner since I spent 7 years of my life in the Air Force and Backdraft since he lives about 15 minutes from us and my BF knows his father who is also a driver (Eradicator). Let me clarify.......they are not BFF's or anything. BF used to work for our township. He took the township trucks to their garage for inspections. You know how it goes.........small talk, chat, small talk, chat, etc. :) Anyhow, I was yelling for Backdraft (by the way........he is only 20 yrs old and an AWESOME driver) and everyone in our section was staring at me. :confused3 Oh well!

Anyhow, the show was AWESOME. 7 of the 12 trucks crashed and I think 2 of them broke down.

Wanna know who put on the best show?????? It was Tom Meentz w/ Max-D. I think he is now one of my favorites after seeing his showing. He is, in my book, the BEST driver! Dennis Anderson was okay, but he rolled it after about a minute in. Tom went well past his time (by a few minutes), had many saves from rolling and I'm pretty sure crashed on purpose. What an AWESOME display of his driving skills! :cheer2: I think he is also BF's favorite. He bought himself a Max-D t-shirt.

Gabby's fav is Gravedigger. I think that is almost every little kids favorite. She likes Monster Mutt too, but her favorite is Gravedigger. She even asked me to make a sign to take with us. She asked me the night before and I had no time and no supplies. It's a definite must for next year! :)

I tried to upload a few more, but they were too big. :confused3

I think that's all for now. We are off to see Toy Story 3! :cool1: :woohoo: :yay: :cheer2: popcorn::  :thumbsup2 :)

Have I told you that I LOVE the Toy Story movies!!!! Toy Story is one of my top 5 favorite movies! I have been waiting and waiting for this to come out ever since I seen the first preview. I think it was almost a year ago when we were in the movies. I don't think it was really a preview, but it was something about a Toy Story 3 being made. I couldn't wait! We had dance recital rehearsal last night which is why we didn't go last night.

More to come later! Hopefully and update of DD dance recital, which is tomorrow!

Crissy I am sitting here waiting on pictures of the swing set oohh and I'm joining in as well:)

I took my little ones to see TS3 yesterday as well and I have to tell you that i'm a big sap because I was fighting back tears towards the end. I also must tell you that this is making rethink getting rid of the toys the kids don't play with anymore. :rotfl2:

Hello and :welcome: You're not the only sap. I also was fighting back the tears. Thank God it was dark and almost everyone stayed to watch the credits. It gave me time to "clean up". Who would have thought you would need tissues to see TS3? I really did enjoy it and I can't wait to purchase it!

We are still working on the swing set. After sitting for a few years it needed a little bit of TLC. We pressure washed it, prepared the ground under it (where the sand box is supposed to be) and are now staining it. It should be completely finished this week (hoping) ;). We ran out of stain this weekend. :headache:

I can't wait to show you the pictures. I even bought her a little chair for on her deck and a watermelon umbrella (that matches her chair). We attached it to the side of her deck. It's really looking homey!

We also decided to not use the area under the house for a sandbox (like it's supposed to be). Mark (BF) works at a dairy bar. They also have a driving range and mini golf. When the edges of the greens for the golf course get damaged they have to replace the whole thing. So, they have a ton of greens w/ bad edges. He brought home a few pieces, cut off the bad parts and put that under her house. We were able to put her turtle sandbox under there along w/ her water table. It's great because it offers her shade while playing with those things and she doesn't have to sit in dirty mulch.

Thanks again for joining in! :thumbsup2

Well, it's Monday. Time for my weekly weigh-in report. Remember - I want to lose 20 lbs before our trip to the World!

I am not :) but I am also not . I gained .4 lbs (please take notice to the decimal point before the 4). This was a tough week for me and I honestly thought it would have been worse. First we went to the fair last Tuesday and I ate very unhealthy. Plus, it was dance recital weekend and we ate out 2 times this weekend. And............we went to the movies Saturday night. I had to have my butter popcorn popcorn:: and candy!!!! :confused3

Hoping for a better week this week! :thumbsup2

Isn't making changes to your original reservation fun?!! At least you get to stay at the resort you wanted (I share the same feelings as you - when you have been to one resort and it feels like "home", it's hard to want to switch. Ours is Boardwalk Villas and we have rented points the last two times which has saved us lots of $$ - we almost stayed at Coronado Springs but found renting points was less expensive plus we get a boardwalk view, plus we can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Sorry! I can't say enough about how I love BWV and renting points :rotfl:)

Your trip to see the Monster Trucks sounds like fun (and noisy!). My DGS would love that! I think you will do fine with your weight loss goal :thumbsup2 I started a kick on eating healthy (not calling it a diet) and hope to lose 20 lbs before our trip in late November. You are doing great!!

:welcome: Thanks for having faith! I have been trying to lose weight for awhile now and I get to the weight I am now and get stuck. :confused3 It never fails!! If I could just break this barrier I think I would be fine. I usually get fed up and gain back the few pounds that I lost and pick up a few extra. :headache: Here's hoping I can keep it up and lose some more! :thumbsup2

I would like to take a trip over to the Boardwalk. We've never seen it, but I've seen pictures on here and it looks wonderful. It seems we always run out of time and never get to visit the other resorts (unless we have ADR's planned there). Hoping to get over there this year.

We love POFQ. Our DD would like to stay at All Star Movies. She calls that "the real Disney". We stayed their on her 1st trip. Toy Story was her favorite movie when we made reservations. It made sense to try to get the Toy Story section. We ended up with 101 Dalmations, but she loved it just the same. Anyhow, last year she didn't think we were staying at Disney since we weren't at ASM. Go figure.

I really felt bad...............actually, I felt like a big cry baby when I talked to my travel agent. She completely understood and was great with me. She agreed that I should hold out to see if I could get POFQ. I am sooooooooooo glad it worked out.

Hooray for hitting double digits!!! :woohoo: I love hitting 100 days, then double digits, then every 10 days after that just fuels my excitement. :rotfl:

It seems like it goes fast from here! Now I need to hurry up and do our countdown calendar. I was thinking of the chain link too. I read that on the boards and I like that idea. Just not sure I want to cut and glue all those chain links.

Okay, the playhouse / swing set is not done yet. We still need to do some staining. If your man is like my man than you understand when you are told that something will be done in a week that it actually means 1 - 2 months. Anyhow, here is a pic of DD sitting on her deck.

dance_021.jpg

I also decided to include a pic of DD at her dance recital this past Sunday (Father's Day). This is her 2nd dance recital. She loves going to dance class and she also loves her teacher. Her group did their routine to Tom Jones, What's New Pussycat. They did an AWESOME job. :thumbsup2

dance_015.jpg

I think next year we are going to do tap/jazz for dance. I also think that we are signing her up for cheerleading. It starts in mid July and goes to the middle of November. I just need to watch that it doesn't interfere w/ dance class. That starts back up the first week in October (when we are at Disney). We'll miss the first week. Oh well.....................:confused3

:confused3 Okay..............no good news here! UGH! I gained 2.2 lbs. Not sure why I put the confused :confused3 smilie! I know exactly what went wrong. I ate VERY bad! and I only went to the gym 1 day last week! I am not making excuses for myself, but I was sick for two days and I had stuff going on with DD. I had to come into work early one day and leave early another day. When I do that I skip my lunch to make up the time. :confused3

Anyhow, the goal for this week is to lose those 2 lbs and hopefully ;) another two on top of that. We shall see! :thumbsup2

On another note.................I am going to start my countdown calendar this week! I have a wondeful idea. I just hope I can pull it off! :confused3

Here it is..................our Disney Countdown Calendar.

Misc_026.jpg

I finally got it done. Can you say.........Procrastinate???? That is my middle name! :lmao:I really wanted to put July, August and September on the front, but it wouldn't fit. I put September on the back and loaded the area around it with pictures that DD and I colored together. As you can see we decided to put Nemo, Peach, Ariel, Jasmine, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet on the front. Since I took this picture we actually added a few stickers of :mickeyjum and the Gang. I also want to find some stickers to mark special dates (trips to various places, sisters wedding, start of kindergarten, etc.). The only problem with the calendar is that DD wants to mark that day off early in the morning (when she wakes up). I keep telling her that you have to wait until the day is over! :rotfl:

Today we went to Knoebels. It's a local amusement resort in the area. It's really a wonderful place. It's completely FREE to get in and FREE to park. Where do you find that these days??? We went later in the day (got there around 5 pm). Everyone was leaving! I couldn't believe my eyes. :woohoo: We had no waits for any of the rides! :dance3: It was funny because when Mark mentioned it this morning I snubbed my nose, thinking it was going to be packed due to the holiday. And, there is also a campground on site. :scared1: I thought for sure it would be CROWDED! DD rode a ton of rides. I bet we went through $30 worth of tickets (each ride averages $1.00). We finally took our last train ride and left the park @ 10:15 pm.

We get home around 11:00 pm or so and smell something really really bad :scared1:! Here our fly trap got knocked down and smashed all over our partially enclosed porch. It is one of those bags that has bait in it. The flies go in and can't get out. Needless to say there were dead flies all over our porch, the liquid in the bag and the bait. It was sooooooooooooooo disgusting. Can I also mention that there is a window on that porch that is for our dining room? The window was open and now the downstairs stinks like dead fish! :scared1: Personally, I think a bear or some other type of animal knocked it down. I have a L hook hanging on the doorway coming into the porch with a lantern hanging on it and that was ripped right off the wall. Hmmmmmmmmmm, not sure what could have done that, but I know it wasn't the wind! Just glad nothing else got damaged and the dogs were in the house! Who knows what might have happened! :confused3

I love your countdown calendar! It looks great!

Ewww, I'm sorry about your fly trap and having to come home to that. Discoveries like that are never fun. I'm glad your dogs were in the house comfy and safe, too!

It's all cleaned up and gone. Thinking about another one, but don't want to have to deal with that mess again! GROSS!

sounds like your little one is going to have the best 5th birthday ever :)

You calendar is so cute!! I am going to do something for my daughter like that this weekend because I KNOW she is going to drive me batty once I tell her!! Sorry about your trap, that sounds yucky!!

Thanks! I hope so! I know it's her b-day, but I am really looking forward to this trip more so than any other trip. I just can't wait to see her enjoy it all and soak it in.
